Basketball is back!

Had my 1st ever back to back basketball games this week.  All I feel is....DAMN I feel great to back on the court and officate those kids!  I was rusty on the 1st game, but after my partner threw a T on the girl coach, I'm back to normal.  It's all good.  Friday was a big shock experience, last mintue call in even I was stand by, made it to the game but partner was there yet.  So I had to call the 1st 5 mins by myself.  1 man crew is tough!!  Don't know I should be trails or lead.  I just had to keep moving to see the court!  Anyway, found out later my partner was a true rookie (I consider myself a rookie again since away the game for 12 yrs!!)  Good, there were 4 games so the second crew is a veteran and he gave me some advised.   Always good to have advise to improve myself!  then after the game, met with other refs for a beer n dinner.   It's all good!!

Next Tue will be a new task, 3 JV games in a row..hope my legs can hold on to it.

Workaholic

For those who didn't make it, don't feel bad, I feel your love here!  Is all good! 

Damn just hear the news that the supervisor position will be "hanging" for a month or so...damn disappointed..but I'm not giving up on it 'cos I know it'll be mine!!

Back from vacation...should write this couple days ago but too lazy! haha

JUL3, woke up early to wait for Eric since he usually on time...YES he was late..surprise...drove all the way down to Clearwater, when we hit TPA, we try to get lunch before and first found a ghetto Papayes ...yuck!!  End up w/ KFC/Pizza Hut/Taco Bell, hoho so happy to have fried chicken n burrito at the same time!!  Check in at Marriott....not too bad...just a bit old but acceptable..then hit on the beach baby!!!  At nite went to Kooters for dinner, had my favorite gator bites but didn't taste that good; the one I had in MCO downtown still the best I ever had.  After dinner walkd at Pier 60 n only 20 minutes expired from the parking meter, I had a ticket on my windshield!!!

2nd day went to meet Winter, Pamela, and other sea lives...then hit the beach again! YES!!!!  Then at nite, we drove to Hard Rock Casino & Hotel.  Finally after saw the billboard ad so many times when I was in MIA and JAX before, I'm there...had nice Chinese dinner in the casino but disappointed after dinner 'cos no rollette but have DEAL OR NO DEAL slot machine...not interested in slot machine but just played around..then check out Black Jack table...end up played at the $25 'cos $10 were full all nite..I shouldn't sit...

3rd day went back to MCO and visited Universal Studio..Simpson Ride was great..Mummy ride was excited.  Then dinner went to NBA City!! YES there are alot great pictures in there, even with MJ wore #12, the only game he ever wore a jersey not 23 or 45 'cos his jersey was stolen prior the game.  The food was acceptable, at least for sure, much better than Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood...then try to shop around the gift shops..nothing really interesting...the photo shoot w/ NBA players are cool but they couldn't have MJ so didn't take one.. Eric had a 3 point contest...even some jaggars cheer for him, great job E! 

Last day went to outlet before head home...SURPRISE!!!  Didn't buy anything, neither the prices too expensive or would not have the color I like...sigh...then on the way home the rain finally came...

Overall, a great vacation with BB, E Lai, Patcy, Tim, Julitta and Slias!!  Even we got splited on the last couple days but it's all good, I love it!!  And kudos BB to arrange everything..you are the best and looking forward for our next trip!
